Weesaw Township

Weesaw Township Park (13430 California Rd, New Troy, MI 49119) offers residents and visitors 38 acres of recreational opportunities—a playground, open space for active sports, hiking trails, picnicking, and marshland nature viewing.

 

Through the efforts of the Weesaw Township Parks Committee and the support of the Township Board, our park has been awarded a Recreation Passport Grant of $181,000 from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.

 

These funds will pay for a multi-sport court (basketball, pickle ball, and volleyball), a picnic pavilion, connecting walkways, and seating. These new facilities should be in place in late 2024.
